BFA, Survitec Group brand, provides immersion suits designed for helicopter or submarine escapes in emergency situations.
With a long-term products philosophy, BFA removes the use of natural fibers, latex or PVC of the products, avoiding the rapid aging of the components while stored.
The suits are unisex and one size. They have retroreflective bands which rise visibility during nocturne navigation and zippers are waterproof with a great flexibility being plastic and not metal.
The facts are conditioned in containers and hermetically sealed storage bags to protect them from extreme climatic conditions. The containers are resistant to the most liquids, gas or moist and have an easy opening.
They follow or exceed all regulatory industry requirements, passing by rigorous tests.
Aviation
- Bfa Helisuit: this immersion suit is indicated for passengers and helicopter crew and its approved and certificated by German Air Force. It matches with any clothes or lifejackets and has 150N maximum buoyancy. It is manufactured with anti-static and flame retardant materials. The survival time into the water at 2ºC of temperature is 2,5 hours and also holds an air temperature variation between -30ºC and + 35ºC.
Defense
- BFA Amphiprion: manufactured to ensure immerse submarines escapes safely with maximum depth of 300m. This suit combines several components such as inflatable lifejackets with 120N buoyancy, a pair of safety valves and one single seat liferaft.
- BFA Solandri: it is a double layer suit and inflatable chambers, designed for submarine fast escapes up to a 200m maximum depth. It uses two individual mechanisms to fill the vests chambers, opened in a single pull and has a padded effect. It’s manufactured in polyurethane to extend its life time, even under extreme climatic conditions and high pressure. It has a light, active during 12 hours while submerse in water, a rope in the left arm to allow the passengers to join and a whistle.
- BFA Anura: this face and chest protection is used in submarine fast escapes up to a 100m maximum depth and, once it doesn’t cover the entire body, offers a movement facility when the vessel submerges.
